Clients expect quick response and the faster you are at getting back, the greater the chances of you sealing the deal. Having said that, remember not to call the client over the weekend or a public holiday or at an unearthly hour. Here are some tips on reverting: * Keep Notes: Be clear as to what the client wants to know. Take notes in the meeting so that you have the facts right. But, remember not to take shots in the dark, because little knowledge is a dangerous thing. * Set a deadline: A timeframe will help you get back to your client asap. It will possibly stall them from considering other options as well. * Send some information immediately: Even if you don’t have all the details on hand, at least send a part of the information immediately. This will assure them that you are on the job and are taking their business seriously. * Clear all doubts: If your client has a doubt, revert immediately will why the product will suit his needs. If possible provide an alternate product from your company that will meet their requirements better. * Highlight your services: Make sure you emphasize the advantages of buying from you and not your competitor.
