A few Competition Tips

Understanding the nature of competitive examinations is essential in deciding how to approach them. Don't be too ambitious by trying to answer all the questions correctly in the limited time. Skip the difficult questions. There is no point in wasting time before the hard nuts. Save such time for answering relatively easy questions that follow.

* Stick to just one text book. After completing it, go for another author.

* Use only text books and avoid guides.

* Questions are never repeated in I I T exams. So don't go for the test with expected questions and then get surprised and diappointed.

* Think positive.

* Exercise is very important, this means taking more mock tests.

* Don't get carried away with study materials brought by parents and other well wishers. Adhere to the system you are following.

* Do not skip your sleep.

* At the last minute, don't try to learn anything new. Just go through what you have studied.

* Employ relaxation techniques like walking for 5-10 minutes.
