Is there a home remedy for hair loss?
What causes hair loss?
A number of things can cause excessive hair loss.
Baldness may occur androgens and estrogens, (male and female hormones) are out of balance. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop your hair loss.
Some people experience hairloss after an illness or major surgery. This hair loss is normally related to the stress of the illness and is temporary.
Hormonal problems may also cause hair loss. If the thyroid gland is overactive or underactive, hair may fall out. This can usually be corrected by treating the thyroid.
Many women experience hair loss about 3 months after giving birth. This loss is also related to hormones. During pregnancy the body does not shed hair as usual but when the hormones return to pre-pregnancy levels, that hair falls out and the normal cycle of growth and loss starts again.
Fungal infections of the scalp can cause hair loss in children. The infection is easily treated with antifungal medicines.
Some medications cause hair loss. Medicines that can cause balness include blood thinners (anticoagulants), gout medication, medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer, vitamin A (if too much is taken), birth control pills and antidepressants. This type of hair loss improves when you stop taking the medicine.
Stress, poor diet, subsance abuse and chemical hair preparations can all lead to hair loss.
Hair loss may occur as part of an underlying disease, such as lupus or diabetes. Since hair loss may be an early sign of a disease, it is important to find the cause so that it can be treated.
Home Remedy for Hairloss by Modifying your Diet
If you notice you are losing your hair you should stop eating all foods that contains Mono Sodium Glutamate. MSG is a sodium salt of Glutamic Acid, an amino acid and a drug. It acts as an excitatory neurotransmitter. It basically causes the nerve cells to discharge an electrical impulse and that's the basis of its use as a flavor enhancer. Food companies learned that MSG increases the flavor and aroma and of commercially prepared food products.
They also learned that it could also suppress undesirable flavors, bitterness, and sourness and eliminated the "tinny" taste of canned foods. Fot this reason food companies in general have no intention of giving up MSG as an additive in their products.
However as the dose increases, every human being will react to MSG at some point. At certain doses it becomes toxic enough to cause illness and disease.
