Namitha turns producer

We have a handful of actresses who had tried their hands at film production too. Close on the heels of Radhika, Kushboo and Sona, here comes Namitha, who has decided to test waters as a producer.

If sources are to be believed, the glamdoll is seriously planning about floating her own production house, which will give opportunities to fresh talents. “It is Namitha’s longtime ambition to produce movies,” sources add.

“She is currently holding discussions with her family members and well wishers on her new plan. A firm and final decision will be made soon,” sources say and add: “In the meantime, she is also listening to scripts from filmmakers who want to cast her in their movies.”

Namitha, who entered Tamil cinema in the year 2004 with Vijayakanth starrer ‘Engal Anna’, went on to become the hot and happening actress of Kollywood thanks to her looks. She also ranked the highest position for the most frequently searched actress in Google.
