Amitabh Bachchan to protect his voice

MUMBAI: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is almost synonymous with his baritone voice. There was a time when All India Radio rejected his voice because they thought it wasn’t appealing enough.

But now, the voice has become the source of livelihood for several mimic artists. His unique voice is copied by advertisers to endorse products in ads and telecalling promotions. In the past, Big B has never given a serious thought on this issue. But now, the actor wants to copyright his voice so that the misuse stops.

The Megastar said that he was thinking about employing the laws of the country to prevent misuse of his voice. A few other actors too have done this in the past.

If Big B takes this step seriously then you wouldn’t hear mimicry artistes imitating his voice on their shows.
