Hotel Ambadi - a 46 room theme resort situated at the Periyar Tiger Reserves (Kerala, India), is one of the first private sector resorts in Kerala. Designed by the world renowned architect Mr. Lauwrie Baker, the hotel was conceptualized on the traditional architectural splendor of a typical Kerala village, complete with a thulasi thara and nallukettu.

Elephant Ride
Enjoy an elephant ride to the forest interior. Elephant rides are organized at the Periyar Sanctuary by the Forest department.

Daily sight seeing trips are arranged to the wildlife sanctuary and the Periyar lake.

Trekking
Ambadi is located very close to the Periyar Wildlife sanctuary, and a short stroll will get you to the sanctuary in minutes. Visit cardamom, pepper, coffee and tea plantations, where you can have an inside view at the growing ,harvesting, processing stages of these products.

A guide will accompany tourists on a trek which is of around 3 - hour duration.
