Green Tea Facial Steam
Different teas and herbs can be used to create the most soothing acne steams. In this case use the hyper-popular green tea to provide your skin with a protective shield against skin enemies.

Grab a medium sized bowl, then fill it with boiling water, add ¼ cup of green tea leaves and let the leaves simmer for at least 10-12 minutes. When the time is up, you can additionally mix a few drops of healing essential oils, and finally lean over the bowl and cover your head with a clean towel. Keep on steaming your face for at least 5 minutes, then dry your face with a towel.

Lavender Facial Steam

Take a medium bowl, fill it with hot water, then add ¼ cup dried lavender to it. Use again a clean towel to cover your head and let your pores enjoy the mild treatment for at least 5-6 minutes. Wash your face with cold water as the final step to close your pores.

Peppermint Facial Steam

Again, grab a bowl, fill it with boiling water and add 2 tbs of fresh mint leaves. Give time for the herbs to simmer, make it at least 10 minutes. The next step would be to lean over the bowl, cover your head with the towel and stay in the steam for 5-6 minutes. Finish up the skin spa session by washing your face with cold water to secure the closing of the pores.

Chamomile
Chamomile is one of the most widely used ingredients to prepare soft and nutritive facials for our complexion. This time you can use it as the best remedy to remove the dirt and other toxins from your pores through this facial steam recipe. In a medium bowl mix the boiling water with ½ cup of dried chamomile flowers. Let the herbs steep for 4-5 minutes. Then cleanse your face and lean over the bowl using a towel to cover your head. Enjoy the mild steam for at least 10 minutes for the desired result. Finally rinse off the steam residues with cool water to do magic with your pores.
