Innocent's attempts to resolve crisis

The chairman of AMMA, Innocent, had been making attempts to solve the new crisis that was going to grip the Malayalam cine industry.

Innocent, along with three other leading heroes had met with some ministers to resolve the crisis. He says,

"It is true that I had tried to meet with some ministers to get some assurances about resolving the latest crisis. I hadn't gone alone to meet with them. I had gone there with Mammooty, Mohanlal and Dileep. We met with ministers Shankaranarayanan at his residence. We had also invited Minister MM Hassan too at Shankaranayaranan's house.

"Both ministers had promised that they would do their best to put an end to this crisis."

But MACTA members too had met the CM on this issue.

"Yes, but we had gone to meet the ministers at the request of Films Exhibitors' Federation. MACTA members had met the ministers before we did. I don't know anything more about the ulterior motives behind this," he said.
