I got dsl connection with 5 friends we make LAN, but one is download most of the time the speed of connection is so bad less than dial up,
Is ther any way to share the speed fair, or any control the speed to every one .

DSL itself is slow. The only way that I know of to fix that is to buy a special router that limits the bandwidth for each connection split or just get Cable which is much faster and can support more users. Hope this helps.
Linux has features of sharing bandwidth!!!. Linux is great.
3Com has some great routers. they can help you. I'm connected through ADSL and the speed is very good.
