Divya Dutta's exceptional performances

Veer Zaara, Apne or Stanley Ka Dabba, actress Divya Dutta has always stood out on the big screen for her exceptional performances.

But despite having a vast repertoire of roles, Divya is disappointed that she is still thought of as a serious actor. “I’ve done a variety of films. But for some odd reason people still look at me as a serious actress. I love experimenting,” she says, adding, “I don’t have the personality to do an item number, but if offered, I might take it up as a challenge.”

However, despite all that, Divya considers herself very fortunate to have been able to survive in this industry. She gives credit to her optimistic attitude and positive approach for that. “It has been a combination of hard work and luck. But I still feel like a newcomer. I still get excited about every new film I sign,” she says.

Speaking about her personal life, she says, “I’m single. I’m in no hurry to tie the knot.”
