Ajay Devgan to star in Harry Baweja's next film

Ajay Devgan has been shortlisted to play the lead role in director Harry Baweja's next film, which is adapted from the Sean Penn starrer "I am Sam".

The director who has made films in the past with Ajay such as "Dilwale", "Diljale" and the recent "Qayamat", has decided to make a hindi version of the Hollywood film which won critical acclaim for Sean Penn as the mentally challenged father bringing up his child on his own.

Ajay Devgan will essay the role played by Sean Penn, and will no doubt look at this unconventional role as a challenge.

Besides Devgan, the film will also star Sushmita Sen, who will play the role of the lawyer representing Ajay Devgan in court, when he fights the case to retain custody of his child.

Ajay's fans will surely look forward to his new film after Yuva, which failed to create much impact.
