Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dazzles in traditional Indian dress at London’s Bulgari hotel

She stepped out in Cannes in a Western style dress as she took to the red carpet at the premiere of Cosmopolis. But tonight Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opted for a traditional Indian outfit as she attended the opening party of the Bulgari hotel in London tonight.
The 38-year-old star stepped out in a creation by Sabyasachi Mukherjee which consisted of an elaborate black and gold dupatta covering a dress with a black top half and a flowing embroidered white skirt.
The actress and former Miss World looked stunning with copper eye shadow and heavy liner highlighting her bright peepers.
Aishwarya hit headlines last month after she was lambasted by fans in her own country for failing to lose her baby weight quickly.
The Bollywood star has ignored her critics and instead has taken her own approach to being a new mother focusing on her daughter instead.
Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival last month she said: ‘(Motherhood) is wonderful. You ask the question and I beam!’
‘It’s splendid… It’s inexplicable.The joy, the bliss, is wonderful. A smile from my daughter and that’s it! She’s good. She’s great.’
Aishwarya was joined by a whole host of familiar faces at tonight’s event including British-Indian actor Dev Patel.
The pair posed up for a picture together during the evening and Dev was without his girlfriend Freida Pinto.
Model Petra Nemcova, Isabella Rossellini, Florence Welch and Rosamund Pike and also attended the bash.
