it's a hell of a job to install internet explorer7 in a pirated winxpsp2 system. The update.exe file which gets extracted during the running of the original setup file remains active only as long as the ie7 setup is running. At that time, i was not able to paste the cracked update.exe bcos the file is accessed by that pgm. When i click Cancel for the IE 7 setup the temporary extracted files vanished. I tried copying the extracted files and replaced them but oops the setup didn;t complete. Any help dudes.

most of us hav winzip installed
so jus right click on the above downloaded file and say extract
go to the folder where you extracted the file
you will find another folder "update"
here you will find "update.exe"
replace dat file with the one from
click on "update.exe"
follow instruction
IE7 installed

I installed in the wrong way by copying some of the files from the temporary folder which is created and now when i go to the Add or Remove programs it says that the windows uninstaller has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Now, i am neither able to access ie nor update to ie7.
Can u help?
Is system restore the only solution? Will the downloaded files get vanished when i do a system restore?

Do u mean dat u cannot open IE??
if so then do a system restore when u had installed IE7
there will b a link in system restore
Actually after doing a system restore all shud work properly
means what the system was before installin IE7
You shud hav read the NFO properly before installin the IE7
that wud hav kept u away 4m this problem

I did a system restore and now i have installed ie7. thanks a lot for the crack and the working procedure Guttu.
It's good that IE7 supports tabbed browsing.

Ok. Followed all the steps but still get either a file not correct or file already in progress and/or can't delete file and can't write over file...
It just isn't working for me. It won't let me even add it to the update folder in the original setup folder. Now what!? Help

u have to right click on the setup (i.e exe and say extract all the files using winzip or winrar or any compressor pgm u have in ur computer. When u go to that extracted folder u can find the file update.exe. Copy the cracked update.exe and paste it there. u will find a setup file or exe file in that extracted folder. just double click on that and Follow instructions to install.

Right click from within the folder? before it finishes setup? I'll try it and get back with you. lol Just making sure I'm understanding. If not then I may need more specific instructions. This brain no longer works like it used to.. I need a new one. Anyone got a brain I can have?
