Think about it. You create a Yahoo account, go to a site which apparently doesn't belong to Yahoo (it's privacy statement redirects you to the real Chinese Yahoo domain), then you add the originator to your contact list (therefore notifying him that you fell for it and giving him your Yahoo id), then log-in to this possibly fake site with your id and password, and magically this Chinese Yahoo site gives you an English 1GB account, regardless of the fact that Yahoo does not offer free 1GB accounts (free accounts get 100MB, paid accounts get 2GB; there's no in-between).

Maybe it's all true. But, to me, it all seems somehow unlikely.

I got email id ending with @yahoo.com.cn

I have loged in to Yahoo messenger and add a friend.

I logout from yahoo and messenger.

I go to http://cn.mail.yahoo.com/ and clicked the 1 G blinking image. New window open. That is same as the first window. I loged in second window. Nothing happen. As usual i am loged into my 100 MB Yahoo id.

Not sure i do anything wrong.

In the first signup forum, i selected Yahoo India.

Yahoo has new domain called 'www.265.com, for chinese only. I can sigh up a free mail like [email protected]. And you can update it to 1GB too.

i have tried... but this shitZ install spyware on my comp... all i got is low on resource on my comp memory!!
