Well theres loads of tutorials on the web and open source resources available, if you try searching for a tutorial on the "Hello World" programme it'd probably be a good star. Thats where i started
you should start by buying a c++ book by robert lafore
you can read book by E balagurusamy or yashwant kanitkar these are very good books for beginners
i always found books quicker and easier. i stick to python:P
there are quiet good project archive sites on the web... you can try them
yes. there r books, pdfs and i guess couple of vdo tutorials al tellling the same thing.... but its with practical experience u can learn
Youd be best off learning the basics of what a class is and how they are used. I find that you can pick the syntax up as you go along.
c++ is hard to learn, but get a book like sams teach yourself c++ or c++ for dummies. i wouldnt recommend starting with tutorials, just buy a book and read the whole thing, and re-read it if you have to.
if something is hard .. or soft... everything is based on your mentality...
best way is buy balaguruswamy C++ Beginners, C++ primer, C++ Complete Reference.... and practice examples.. understand it...

Lucky I have university class, maybe you poke at a local universities website to see if any of the professors have they're own websites. Mine have tutorials unprotected so anyone can pick them up and do them.
THe best booksare "The C++ Programming Language" by Bjarne Stroustroup (the creator of C++) and "Effective C++ / Effective STL" by Scott Meyers
If you are really a begginer - try out something by Robert Sedgwick
