describe your broblem again. I don't understand what are you talking about! You are not sure that "Mambo CMS" will not work in safe mode? or what?
You can ask in the mambo forum if mambo work in safe mode.
I can copy and paste what it says so it will be a little more easier to understand :D.
These things comes up:
Warning: copy() [function.copy]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 9508 is not allowed to access /home/vhosts/brafilm.bizhat.com/components/com_simpleboard owned by uid 99 in /home/vhosts/brafilm.bizhat.com/administrator/components/com_installer/installer.class.php on line 345
Warning: copy(/home/vhosts/brafilm.bizhat.com/components/com_simpleboard/simpleboard.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vhosts/brafilm.bizhat.com/administrator/components/com_installer/installer.class.php on line 345
So, what shall I do?
I once tried to install Mambo on my web... but it didn't worked so I changed to PHP-Nuke
On Bizhat "Safe Mode" is turned On! So, i don't know..
I came up with one other Idea:
Is there any way I can integrate an other message board with Mambo?
Or maybe if there is a way to install simpleboard manually?
hmm, well I came up with an idea:
If one mod (can they do that?) or admin could turn off safemode for me for a short while just so I can install simpleboard?
Mambo have Safe Mode Patch available at
http://mamboforge.net
See
http://mamboforge.net/projects/mos-sm-patch/
http://mamboforge.net/projects/safemode451/
Also you can do another thing, just install mambo on local pc, then upload the content to your hosting account, transfer data base to server, also update MySQL login details.
One of them didn't work and I didn't get what folders I should place the patch in in the other one.
If you find problem with patch, just install mambo in local pc, then upload all files to server. Then export the MySQL database to the server. Change the configuration file. It will work.
Well this comes up:
Error, failed resolve FTP host path to Mambo directory
When I'm using the patch at http://mamboforge.net/projects/safemode451/
but does someone here know what's wrong? I'm typing both my password and my accountname right.
is there any other way? does the phpMyAdmin for Bizhat work?
