I live in Iowa in the country its satellite or 56k satellite isn't worth it for me because it has bad ping times so I just stick with 56k :P

I use cable, at 360 kb/s. I get it cheap because we are with NTL (UK) television.

because i am sure my cheap dsl's speed doesn't go up that high
it's one of those basic sbc thing..

If you live in South Korea (A.K.A. internet gaming mecca), VDSL is provide for about $20 (Very cheap). Its speed? 52 Megabits per second download, and 12 Megabits per second upload.
52Mbps = 6.5MBps
12Mbps = 1.5MBps
Unfortunately, I don't live in SK, and USA will take a much longer time than SK to progress to such speed.
