Basically that is right, but you should sign up on the forums using the user name of yoursitename.bizhat.com so that once you have completed your 10 posts your account can be upgraded.

Hi
I am new too. My name is John and I am from Singapore.
Thanks to bizhat.com for giving me free web hosting.
I'm trying out web authoring to help some of the jewelry that my wife makes as a hobby.
The performance of bizhat servers are just wonderful. No slowness or downtime whatsoever.
Please visit erinsgarden.bizhat.com and give me your tips on improving the page, thanks.
Cheers.
I just visited the site. It's wonderful and the pieces are beautiful as well. I believe the page is fine so you don't need to worry about it.
If you're going to have more pieces however, it would be good if you used frames in your page so that the visitor can always see the main menu on his screen and jump from one category to another. That is only if you upload much more pieces.
Hope I was helpful in any way.
Are replies counted for post? I'm planning to publish a dynamic site using PHP MySQL, will it work here??
hi im new too maybe we could talk sometime
Thanks, Kakashi, for your advice. It is helpful to me.
That page is an interim page just to consolidate those items that are currently listed on eBay. I intend to add more pages to it and make it into a more complete site, including items available for purchase but not currently listed on eBay. So the number of items will be increasing.
Frames would be a good way of keeping the links in the main menu on the screen when the visitor scrolls down. However, I read in a number of books that frames are problematic for search engine crawlers. And I'm a little bit afraid of the added complexity using frames. Is there any way (without using frames) of keeping the main menu visible even when the visitor scroll down?

There is however a way you could probably do it with out frames - that would ba layers. However it would be kind of complicated in the designing progress - I gave up on compex layers a long time ago.
I am not aware of any other methods - unless you find a really cool javascript somewhere.
So, pick one. Hope I helped.
Hmm, looks like it's back to the manuals and get framed. Don't think I'll go into layers just yet. I'm looking at PHP/MySQL to help avoid having to do individual pages for each item detail. So that's my immediate priority at the moment.
I've viewed the website in IE6 so far and it's okay. Wonder if the page stands up to other browsers which I don't have, eg. Netscape, Firefox, etc. Hope those who use these browsers could let me know it the page is mangled. Cheers!
Well, I'm using Firefox and there seemed to be no problem. SO, thta's your answer concerning Mozilla.
You are Wellcome.
PHP is not that hard to learn. If you start scratching the surface now eventually you will learn and surely you will have fun. PHP is easy, simple but powerfull. Just basic knowledge in programming/scripting and you will not find PHP so hard. Too bad bizhat don't support PHP at all.. Do they support ASP?
Hi guys,
I'm new here too.juz checking out the net and found this site quite cool and i would like to host my site here too.
Thanks Kakashi for checking. Now I can sleep better.
Dear Galivio, any success finding anywhere that supports PHP/MySQL for free. I'll stick with bizhat for my site, while I pick up PHP and try it out at some free host. Once comfortable, I may consider upgrading my bizhat site to a paid one that supports PHP. (I wonder if they provide paid hosting for PHP/MySQL. I'm happy with their performance, so I'd rather stick with them if they do provide paid PHP/MySQL support).
Hi all ,I see that there are a lot of new peolpe here.Glad Im not the only one.
