I am afraid that has nothing to do with free web hosting. But I agree. I go to parties, and people are being stupid and drunk. They think they need to drink or get high to be fun and entertaining. I am sXe, and I know that all you need to do to have fun is do whatever the heck you want, and don't hold back. You don't need to lose self control.
I think you copied and pasted those words from any site just to get your fifth post to apply for your web site upgrade .
I know we all want upgrades , so anyways it would have been better if you pasted anythig related to web hosting or replied to any post by saying anything like what i am doing now . hehe .
Now, what in the world, does that have to do with free web hosting support . I agree with sh-khaled, I think you posted to get your 5th post so you can get an upgrade, Although I do agree with your post :?.
Well some alcoholic might be too drunk to experience the awesomeness of free web hosting. They may even spew all over their computer and blow it up, losing all the work they spent on the website they wanted to upload so the moral is, don't become an alcoholic because it could ruin your free web hosting experience.
Anyway, I REALLY have to get back to work.
IT MUST BE IN THE DEBATE FORUM. MOVING TOPIC.
I'll come back and read this topic seeing as i don't really have time right now and should be doing home-work but just wanted to add:
Many people (especialy in the AA community) belive that alchohlism is "genetic" or an "inheratant" trait. My mother was an alc-e for many years (until i was about 17) and i never really took to it as she or many other alc-e's ive known thru the years. So if you have alot of ppl or sum one around you that is... remember will power along with free with is a very powerfull tool.
I believe it's an inherited trait. Some people are just more prone to substance abuse than others.
Ultimately, I think it's a spiritual problem. And that's not to say "religious" means is the only answer. I think there's a difference between being religious and being spiritual. Some kind of spiritual awakening is often the only thing that can overcome addiction.
Young people turn to chemicals/alcohol for the same reason older people do... life is hard. Sometimes a little "relief" is a good think. But, there are those who keep using to feel normal... not just to relax or unwind. That's where it becomes a problem. Many young people will go through a "stage" and be done with it. Others get stuck and it becomes a way of life.
to me the defineing factor is where the user draws the line b-ween thier substance being a tool, or a dependancy
i have to admit i do drink and i do smoke and i started at a party...parties around here are really really really intense! so i started alot of stuff there! <3 Lisa
Well lets see, I love to drink. And while I do so moderately I understand the need for more at times. And to do so during parties is just great, of course Im speaking of moderation and not overindulgence. Wheres the line? Cant answer that for you, I just know whats real for me.
About drugs, hey I dont even gotta go there, we all know where they lead!
that is big problem...i got exelent example...mei start drink at age of 15 and start smoke cigaretes also at age of 15
now i'm 22 and stil smoke cigaretes but just 3 per day and drink alchohol just few times on year....for stop just need stron wil...everything is in our head
my brother is an alcoholic. strong will did nothing for him
what did was getting involved in a program/group that targeted addiction and helped redo life.
and what statistics say alcohol use is up among teens?
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), drunk driving-related deaths have dropped 31% since 1982. During that year, 25,165 people were killed in alcohol-related traffic accidents in the United States. At that time, 57 percent of all traffic fatalities were linked to alcohol use. By 1993, the number of deaths had fallen to 17,461 and alcohol was a factor in only 44 percent of traffic fatalities.
stop drinking help u r family
I think that the problem of alcohol in society needs reform. Alcohol is too widely accepted as something that the youth have access to and will drink, regardless of anything else. It has come to the point where parents will buy it and serve it at parties and a variety of occasions. My ex-girlfriend's mom offered me a number of drinks at a new years eve party (I'm 15 by the way) from beer to liquor and wine coolers. There was a 10 year old kid at my table who had gone through about 5 mixed drinks that had rum in them.
I know the forums tend to gather people from all across the globe, is Europe or Asia facing a similar problem? I think here in America we view Europe as a place where 10-12 year olds can drink legally and its no big deal, it would be interesting to get another perspective on the situation.
I'm quite a heavy drinker, but I'm not a problem drinker. I don't personally believe that alcohol is the problem with society's ills but the people who abuse it.
I see a lot of squaddies and a lot of chavs who cannot handle their beer, but it's because they have never been taught the responsibilities it carries.
Kind of a personal subject with me.... When I was in the Air Force I drank ALOT... My roommate and I would get finish our 12 hour shift at 7am, then drive to the commissary and wait until 7:30, when they could start selling beer.... We would buy two cases, and go back to our dorm room and drink it all or until we went to sleep...
That was a daily thing for about 3 years, with alot of parties thrown in the mix....
Now I am out of the military, have a good job, wife and kids.... I drink on the average a 20 pack of beer in a weeks period....
I stopped the drinking lifestyle within a weeks time, when I got out of the military..... Maybe I am an anomily, but it wasn't that hard... I think most people lack the desire to quit, or cut back, just my opinion...........
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy....
i dont drink and i dont smoke if maybe yo would ask to me.. i should response with" i dont want buy beer, because I DONT WANNA WAST MAY MONEY AND LOST MI HEALT!
You're only as tough as the drink in your hand.
