Tableless pages

Does anyone have a good tutorial to help me building a page without using tables? I've heard CSS Tableless is better than HTML Tables, the code is cleaner and smaller, however I did not find any tutorial for beginners.

You can esaily make a Custom Style Shett. In dreamweaver there is very easy way to create a css style. So if you can make a site using dreamweaver or other web software you go read the tutorial in dreamweaver.

free and open source

I really hate adobe software
coz tehy require tooooo much system requirement
they jazz up GUI and consume memory
dats too bad IMO

it had agud reference at side
but still I dint like it 4 some reason

Guttu for creating css website you dont need any bigger software. A plain note pad could work if you website dosent need to be updated often and if its small.

Ok i guess I should teach you right here otherwise this forum will be confusing with lot of posts.

Ok first hope all know CSS means cascading style sheets.

Tableless page means to use layers. The most important thing why we should learn css now is because the web is evolving and slowly content would be seperated from design entirely.

If anyof you have used blogs & or take this forum for example here the design is controled through CSS and the content is stored differently.

This helps to redesign the website in no time.

In a page the different areas of a website are kept within layer "DIV" tags and the properties and attributes to the div tags are given in the css files.

And guys when you learn css you will also have to learn about XHTML. Well dont hold your head. I will explain you about that in a single post.
