UGC invites MRP proposals from teachers

The University Grants Commission has invited Major Research Project (MRP) proposals from eligible university/ college teachers.

As per a release from the UGC, the MRP proposals can be submited online from May 1 to August 31 in the prescribed proforma available on the UGC website.

Following should be considered before applying:
• Teachers with ongoing projects should not apply.
• After completion of one project ,if a teacher desires to undertake another UGC project, a gap of one year will be necessary.
• Before submitting to the UGC the concerned institute should get the proposal assessed by their Research bodies with a certificate that the proposed research work is in conformity with the MRP guidelines.
• Read and adhere to the XII plan MRP guidelines.

Only online applications will be accepted.
