Velailla Pattathari - Dhanush's 25th Movie

Dhanush's upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy, his 25th film, has been titled Velailla Pattathari. It will be produced under the actor's home banner Wunderbar Films. Actor confirmed the news via Social networking site Twitter. Velailla Pattathari, also featuring Amala Paul, will be helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Velraj, who previous handled the camera for films such as 3 and Pollathavan, featuring Dhanush.

Velailla Pattathari - Dhanush's 25th Movie The film is expected to go on floors from Aug 30, and it will be predominantly shot in Chennai and some rural parts of Tamil Nadu. Dhanush, overwhelming with the success of Mariyaan and Bollywood flick Raanjhanaa is all set to strike back with his upcoming movies. Amala Paul was seen in Thalaivaa, starring opposite Vijay, which was released on August 9, across the world, expect in Tamil Nadu. It is said that, Amala Paul had missed an opportunity to act with Dhanush in 3, which later went to Shruthi Hassan.

In an interview to a regional portal Amala had said, Everything happened magically. It's almost as if the same team that worked in 3 has joined hands again. I am completely thrilled to work with Dhanush." Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy wrapping up Tamil comedy Naiyaandi. He will also soon team with filmmaker KV Anand for another yet untitled Tamil project. And Amala will also be seen in upcoming Tamil action thriller Nimirndhu Nil opposite Jayam Ravi.
