Applications have been invited for admission to UG, PG and Research Programmes offered during 2014-15 at Hyderabad, Lucknow and Shillong Campuses of The English And Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad 500 007. BA (Hons.) in English, Arabic, French, German, Russian and Spanish, BCJ, B.Ed.(English), M.Ed., MA in English, Linguistics, Arabic, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, MA, MCJ, Masters in Computational Linguistics,
PG Diploma in the Teaching of English, Ph.D. in English Language Education, Linguistics & Phonetics, English Literature, Indian & World Literatures, Comparative Literature, Social Exclusion Studies, Translation Studies, Film Studies, Cultural Studies, Hindi, Arabic (Literature), French Studies, Russian (Language and Linguistics), and Russian (Literature)


Reservation of seats:
Reservation of seats shall be as per the GOI/UGC norms for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/wards/dependants of defence personnel/Kashmiri migrants.

The Prospectus and Instructions for filling the online application form can be downloaded from the website .



Candidates are required to apply online (on or before 15 January 2014) through by paying the entrance test fee in the form of a system generated SBI challan or by online payment (by Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking) of Rs.300/- for each programme in the case of General/OBC category and Rs.150/- for each programme in the case of SC/ST/PWD categories. Subsequently the hard copy of the application along with the required enclosures must be sent to the Controller of Examinations, EFL University to the above address so as to reach him on or before 20 January 2014.

Last date for online registration: 15th January 2014 (11:59:59)
Last date for Online payment: 16 January 2014 (11:59:59)
Last date for challan payment : 17 January 2014 by 4.00 pm
Last date for receipt of the hard copy of the application : 20th January 2014
Downloading of Admit Pass: 3rd February 2014
Dates of Entrance Tests: 21st Feb,22nd and 23rd February 2014
