I did the above and i still get:

The command was not understood by the server.
Issue the raw FTP command "HELP" to identify all commands supported by the server.

what else can i do?

When i try to change the attributes of a file i get this message:
SITE CHMOD 755
500 'SITE': command not understood.

Ok, how do i make posts? All this is new for me.

Why host don't support PHP ?
