Desingu Raja and Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer are two upcoming movies scheduled to hit the theatres on Independence day. Desingu Raja has Vimal and Bindhu Madhavi in the lead, is directed by Ezhil who also directed Manam Kothi Paravai. Produced by Escape artist motion picture, the movie is touted to be a full length comedy flick that has Imman's music.

Another movie releasing on the same day is Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer which has new comer Santhosh in the lead, also playing the lead heroine is Vazhakku en 18/9 fame Manisha. Yuvan has composed the music of this movie and Red Giants will be counting a Aug 15 probable release. Suseenthran is directing this romantic movie which is produced by Saravanan.
