DFA director Kathir, of 'Idayam', 'Ulavan', 'Kadal Desam', 'Kadalar Dinam' and 'Kadal Virus' fame is tying the knot with Shanthini Devi. The couple is engaged already and their marriage is scheduled to be a grand event at Madurai. A reception will be hosted by the couple here in Chennai on September 14th, while the wedding will be on September 2nd. Kathir is the son of M Subbaih and S Esakkiammal, and Shanthini Devi was born to V Vijayakumar and V Dhanalakshmi.
