All the 64 MBBS seats in the state, which came up for third round allotment, have been allotted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). When the second round of allotment got over, there were 64 seats in six medical colleges in Kerala to be allotted under the 15 pc All India Quota.
When the final allotment was published on August 19, 2013, all the four UR seats in Kozhikode Medical College have been allotted. As many as 16 seats (UR -14; SC -1; ST -1) have been allotted in Thrissur Medical College while 15 seats (UR -11; URPH -1; SC -2; ST -1) were allotted in Manjeri Medical College, three seats (UR -2; SC -1) in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, 21 seats (UR -16; SC -4; ST -1) in Allappuzha Medical College and five seats (UR -3; SC -2) in Kottayam Medical College.
