It is a known fact that Kannda actor Duniya Vijay likes to perform daredevil stunts without using body double, and he has also suffered major injuries in the past. But, yesterday, October 2, was not the same for Vijay as he got rigorously hurt, though he was not performing any stunts. It is said that on the sets of Shivajinagara , the stunts experts mis judged and rammed over the actor, who was standing aside.

Immediately Vijay was rushed to Baptist hospital, in Hebbal, where the doctors said that he is out of danger, and nothing to worry. They have also asked him to take complete rest for 10 days. Speaking to Bangalore Mirror, producer Ramu said, "It was a freak accident. Luckily, Vijay escaped with minor injuries. He has been advised rest and the shooting has been called off. He needs rest for about 10 days. He is out of danger and there is nothing to worry. " "It was a motorbike chase sequence. Specialist bikers from Kerala were participating in the shooting. Vijay himself was not riding when the accident happened. He was just standing when those bikers misjudged and rammed into him. 25 bikes were being used," Ramu added.
