Throw away old things. Start with the most bulky and clumsy ones. If there are big containers that you don't use anymore, or you use them but can put the items somewhere else (such as under your bed), empty them, then throw them away or put them in another room.

Take a look at your room and the furniture inside. Try to be open-minded. Think about ideas that may make your room beautiful and neat.

Place some flower vases in your room.



Lighten your room. Swap your lamp bulb with brighter, stronger one. Try to use natural light as much as you can. It may help you feel more energized.

Don't throw your things or drop them on the floor or bed. If your clothes are on the bed, chair, or floor most of the time, you may need some clothes hangers and/or a laundry basket.

Be neat with your work or school supplies. Put pens in decorative mugs.

Hang some pictures or paintings. Put a photo of your family or friend on your desk. You can do the painting yourself if you want.
