Banned members

Hi there,

One of my forum members has been blocked for spam.

Its a close friend of mine and business partner, and he certainly has not been spamming my forum.

he recieved the following error messages:


IP is blocked: ########
If you are not spamer, you can un block your IP by clicking the link below, if we found you unblock and post spam again, we will block your IP address for ever and report to your ISP.

You have more than 4 spam posts. You can't unblock yourself.
If you wish to unblock your IP, contact us at forums at bizhat dot com with your IP address.

I cant unblock him myself (it shows no blocked ip addresses or members in my forum). Ive emailed support but no reply. (Ive since read on here that you need to post here first?).

I realise it says he needs to email support, and he will, but why cant i do anything about it as the forum admin? If other members get banned they may not go to the trouble of emailing, and just leave.

And why was he banned in the first place?? any ideas? He 100% wasnt spamming anything.

Any help soon appreciated, tx.
