The latest buzz in the industry is about Gopika. The young actress has made a name for herself in the industry in a short time. But now, reports suggest that the ‘Lajjavathiye’ girl wants to settle down and will be getting married this year.

Debuting in Malayalam with Thulasidas’s Pranayamanithooval, Gopika went on to become a successful heroine in Kollywood and Tollywood too. Her first Tamil film, Autograph with Cheran, was a big hit. Her notable films in Malayalam include For The People, Chanthupottu, Keerthichakra and Mayavi. She has also acted in Tamil films like Kanaa Kandaen, Thotti Jaya, Ponniyin Selvan and Em Magan. Her latest is Vellithirai, releasing this Friday; this may well be her last Tamil film.

Some reports even indicate that the actress is already engaged to her relative in the US. But, the actress’ mother has rubbished these reports as false; she says they are right now looking for a groom. Gopika currently has three Malayalam films in hand, which she will be completing before her marriage. She hasn’t signed any Tamil film after Vellithirai.
