The better thing to do is to get the invision script and upload it to a hosting centre with php and mysql support and install it.

To install you have to upload the upload direct. in the hosting centre.

then go to www.yourhostname/install/index.php

l had tried to upload and l take a message like:

You need to install it.

I think now you just uploaded the script, read the documentation on how to install the script. I don't remember how to do this. May be Nemezis can tell you as he is using IPB on his site.

the problem was my ftp program

I have the same problem. I thought I upload all php files but I was wrong.
When you upload files check all of them you're upload. Maybe some files are not uploaded.

And if you will need help in IPB settings or configure ask me)
