THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Noted actor Thilakan received another blow after the Association of Television Media Artistes (ATMA) decided to ban him from acting in serials.

The office bearers of ATMA said they decided to impose a ban on him following the directive from AMMA. Thilakan has been excluded from the serial Mattoruval, a serial in which he was acting.

ATMA general secretary Poojappura Radhakrishnan said they cannot include an actor, who has been banned by AMMA.

When contacted, the actor said the director had informed him Monday night that a car would be sent to pick him up early morning and instead he received a call stating that he has been excluded from the serial.
