Actress Sneha appeared in a Court in Saidapet a couple of days ago to depose before the Judge in telephonic harassment case against Raghavendra of Bangalore.

It was during the final phase of last year when Sneha complained to the police that she had been ‘continually harassed’ by Raghavendra, a native of Bangalore, asking her to marry him. The trouble continued through phone calls and SMSes, Sneha had stated in her complaint.

Ragahavendra was later arrested and produced before the Court in Saidapet, Chennai. The case came up for hearing in the Court of Justice Sriram on Wednesday. Sneha appeared in person along with her parents Rajaram and Padmavathy and three more relatives and dedposed before the Hon’ble Judge.

“Raghavendra had been harassing me through telephonic calls and by sending SMSes. He pleaded with me to marry him and his harassment continued without an end. I got disturbed mentally and reached a stage where I couldn’t attend to my shooting schedules in a prompt manner. I, therefore, request you to take stern action in this regard,” said Sneha.

After the hearing, the case was adjourned for 8th October. Security was beefed up at the Court premises on the eve of Sneha’s arrival to depose before the Magistrate.
