‘Mallu Singh’ vs ‘Lucky Singh’

KOCHI: Prithviraj is trying his hand at humour with his upcoming ‘Mallu Singh’. Viewers will see Prithviraj in a totally wacky role when he disguises himself as a Sikh with turban and long beard in the movie. Director Vysakh announced that the movie is a full length entertainer with Prithviraj playing the role of Bobby Singh, a Malayali who disguises himself as a Sikh and lives in Punjab.

The last Malayalam comedy with the sardarji theme was Dileep’s 1998 movie ‘Punjabi House’, which was a blockbuster hit. A second installment of ‘Punjabi House’, titled ‘Lucky Singh’, is on the cards.

We believe ‘Mallu Singh’ and ‘Lucky Singh’ will lock horns at the box office in 2011.
