M.Sc & M.E Courses at PECUT, Chandigarh
PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh has invited applications for admission to the following courses of Academic Year 2011-12:
1. The Master of Science (M.Sc.) programme in Mathematics and Computing:
(Eligibility: A candidate must have obtained a recognized Bachelors degree of minimum three years duration (having Mathematics as one of the major subjects) with at least 60 percent marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST and Physically Handicapped category candidates) or an equivalent CGPA)
An entrance test will be conducted by the Department of Applied Sciences on 12.07.2011.The minimum pass percentage in the entrance test would be 30% with 5% relaxation for SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates.
2. ME (Total Quality Engineering and Management):
(Eligibility : A recognized Bachelors degree in engineering (any branch) or equivalent with at least 60 percent marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST and Physically Handicapped category candidates) or an equivalent CGPA. )
Application forms can be downloaded from the website http://pec.ac.in.
The application forms should be accompanied by a fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/Physically handicapped candidates) in the form of a demand draft in favour of the Director, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh.
Application forms must be accompanied by the following documents:
1. Copy of the Date of birth (DOB) certificate or High School (Class X ) Certificate with DOB (Required from all candidates)
2. Copy of the SC/ST/PH Category Certificate if applicable
3. Copies of marks/grade sheets of various examinations passed
4. Copy of the Character Certificate from the Institute last attended
5. Copy of the Migration Certificate from the Previous University/Board
The duly filled forms along with the requisite fee must reach the Officer Incharge-M.Sc. Admissions of the PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh latest by 5.00 pm on 06.07.2011.
