Shilpa Shetty Goes Bald

This is Shilpa Shetty's bald new avatar in her new movie The Desire. The Indo-Chinese venture has her portraying the role of a monk.

Shilpa did not shave her head for the role. Rather, she used prosthetic make-up to get the bald look. Each make-up session lasted about three hours.

The Desire is directed by R. Sarath and also stars Anupam Kher, Jayapradha, Vikram Gokhale, and Asif. The film has music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt.

The movie has been shot in Kerala, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh in India and in various locales in Malayasia.
