A healthy drink without High Fructose corn syrup and artificial coloring and our kids like to drink it. It’s a parents dream come true. Their favorite kind is a Strawberry Banana Fruit Smoothie.

Tropical fruit smoothie shakes with Cantaloupe and Banana. She uses Soy Milk instead of cow’s milk and leaves out the orange juice.



You can pretty much make up any flavor combination that you want. I like to make a Pina Colada smoothie every once in a while. I use fresh or frozen pineapple instead of strawberries and I pour in a few ounces of Coco Lopez, which is a sweet cream of coconut that you can find in your grocery store. You can also find it at stores that sell alcohol.


Add the honey since the Coco Lopez is already sweet. The one thing I always add to my smoothies is the banana. It provides the creamy texture that smoothies are known for.


Ingredients:

1 Cup of Ice
1 peeled banana
2 cups frozen raspberries, strawberries, cherries
1/2 cup vanilla or plain yogurt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup orange juice
2 to 3 Tbls honey or more if you like it sweeter

Preparation Method:

Put all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and mix until smooth
Pour into a glass and enjoy
