If anyone of you had a website which had good rankings before November 2005 and then it dropped then this is for you.

As per search engines expert say that link exchange is slowly going down. Though we still see the backlinks to our website but now link exchange is a strict game and link should be exchanged only with closely linked website ot no matter you are happy you have a good PR today and good number of backlinks, by next update who knows there are not any left and your PR returns to 0 or say 1.

I am experimenting with my websites as well as my clients for a few months after the last update and have seen many changes. I wills ay google degraded rather than improved.

So I'll return back to where I started.
Main things to consider:

1. Make a valid page
2. The percentage of content should be more than the code for the layout
3. Exchange links with quality related websites
4. Re-write your title & other meta tags
5. Stop spamming otherwise you'll be kicked out soon.

If anyone wants to share their opinion please do since the above was my view which I noticed and if we all share information will all get to know the updates by google better and therefor we will be able to prepare our websites for future updates in advance.
