The Marine Engineering Institute under Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Cochinhas invited applications for admission to few seats that are available for sponsored/non-sponsored candidates in the 30th GME batch starting 1st Jan 2013.
Eligibility:

Unmarried graduate Mechanical/Naval Architecture Engineers with minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English for Std. X or XII are eligble to apply for the course.

Other Requirements:


Age - Not more than 28 years as on 1st Jan 2013, Physical Fitness: Medical fitness certificate from Medical Officer approved by Directorate General of Shipping.

Application forms date of submission of application to “The Head of Department,Marine Engineering Training Institute, Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi – 15 is before 15th November 2012.Course Fee:The Tuition fees for the course is Rs. 1,60,000/- and other expenses including boarding & loading is Rs. 1,40,000/-. The candidates will have to pay the total amount of Rs. 3,00,000/- at the time of admission. For female candidates there will be a reduction of 50% in tuition fees (subject to a minimum 2 female candidates).
