If sources in tinsel-town are to be believed, Trisha is striking it rich in K’town! Yes, the pretty actress and the numero-uno in Tamil and Telugu who has completed a decade in the film industry has been chosen by none other than the intense filmmaker Gautham Menon for his next Dhruva Natchathiram opposite hot hunk Suriya. Close sources to the actress confirm that Gautham did meet Trisha and narrated the script which the latter found awesome. “Actually, we need Trisha’s dates immediately. Though she has prior commitments, it was the ‘Gautham factor’ that was enough for her to give her nod for DN,” discloses a unit source. After all, it was Menon who earlier gave her the lifetime role of Jessie in the romantic blockbuster Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya.
If all goes well, Trisha will be teaming up with Suriya after a gap of seven years with Aaru being their last outing together. The ensemble cast of DN also has Parthepan, Simran, Sudhanshu Pandey and Radhika Sarathkumar in prominent roles. A.R. Rahman is expected to repeat his VTV magic with Gautham. The movie might start rolling from June 17.
