How to attach pictures to ranks?

Hi,

I'm VERY new to forums. I wanted to add the cool ranks pictures but dont know how. I understand that i must link the pictures. But. ehm.. where are the pictures? :oops:

the phpBB help says says it is related to phpBB2 root path. i checked the phpbb.com tutorials and it says it is in /image/xxxx

You can upload rank image to some image hosting, then use the link for rank image.

Yep, you paste the whole url. You'll see an X when you try to preview each individual rank image in the settings but it'll show up in the forums.

Can you use photobucket or imageshack to host rank images? Or is it out of your comp?

I tried it as a test last night and played around with images on photobucket.

Worked for me, I've just got to settle on a nice set of ranking grapics now. :lol:

im using photobucket too, did you just use the PB URL or did you add something too it, cause i'm not seeing anything on any of my members.

EDIT: nvm it works :lol:
