    Default web imaging editor

    which is the best software to prepare
    images to be displayed in a webpage.
    i mean i want to cut images,shrink, and resize.
    add lables etc.
    and it will be displayed in my webpage.

    paint shop pro is great ...
    irfanview is simple yet affective and also free with some useful tools
    plain ol'e paint also works for watermarking as well as irfanview I believe you cant do this.

    I use Photoshop CS2 for everything. This is expensive for what you are doing though.

    Paint Shop Pro is great too, at a reasonable price!

    photoshop is great. i have already been using it for all professional purposes
