Pea Salad recipe
Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas, thawed and well drained
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 cup sliced green onion
1 cup celery, thinly sliced
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation:
1. In a mixing bowl, add the peas, chestnuts, green onion and celery; stir well to combine.
2. In a smaller bowl, add the sour cream and mayonnaise; stir to blend.
3. Spoon the mayo mixture over the pea mixture; gently stir to coat.
4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for about 4-6 hours before serving.
