Question 404 Error after originally being able to view site...

    ...any help much appreciated.

Joined a forum run by a friend. Posted once, set up profile and avatar. Tried to do a new post and when I hit submit it came up with 404 Error.

I have tried using Windows and Linux, Firefox and Internet Explorer, and three different computers in the house with the same problem. However, the link works for everyone else

Any suggestions?? Have emailed Admin Support on here and they could see the forum no problems - I am running out of hope....

Just downloaded Safari as thought it might be a problem on Firefox 3, but get the same error page. I am completely stumped (although that doesn't take much :p )

Can you try access your web site through proxy ?

You can find list of proxy site at

    http://www.proxy.org

Also can you ping to your web site and give the IP ?

To ping in Windows go to command prompt and enter

    ping your-forum-url

    Eg:

    ping yourforum.s2.bizhat.com

    and give the IP.

For taking screen shot in Windows, press the "Prt Scr/SysReq" button on keyboard. Then open photo editing software like photoshop, then CRTL + V will do.

    See you already posted sreenshot.

screenshot of 404 page will not help, that page shows only if the page you requested do not exist.

Try access the site with proxy and see if it works.
