Singer Krish says he was woken up on Friday morning by a call from his girl, actor Sangeetha. “Happy married life, Krish. Newspapers say we are married now,” she wished, as the singer was at his wits end about this comment from his love.

“We’re not married but we are in love and we would want it to be a grand marriage, not something as secretive and small as papers say,” Krish explains.

So, media speculations about the couple’s wedding are untrue. But it did come as a surprise that Sangeetha was in love with a singer, when even months ago, she had said that she wants to get married but is just not finding her prince charming.

As for how the story began, seems like the two were spotted together at Tirumala recently and were thus understood to have gotten married there. “That’s such a baseless remark to make. We were in Tirumala recently, with a dozen more friends from the film fraternity, to attend actor Maheshwari’s wedding,” Krish says.

In Krish’s words, the two have been seeing each other for seven months. Actor Sangeetha, on the other hand, says they’ve been in love for just two months.

“We’ve told our parents now and we’re waiting for them to respond.

We wouldn’t do anything now in haste because our parents are taking time to decide,” the Dhanam actor explained. Krish, on his part, said their wedding is most likely to happen in January 2009.

“We met each other a while ago and when we spoke, we realized we were made for each other,” Krish recalls. The singer is most famous for his songs June Ponaal (Unaale Unaale), Elay (Sakkarakatti) and Adiyay Kolludhey from the recently released, Vaaranam Aayiram. He has done a course in acting from the New York State University and is said to be a singer who is interested in acting as well. With offers pouring in already, and a popular actor as his wife-to-be, acting should be an achievable goal now.
