    Chocolate Chiffon Cake Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 Cup baking cocoa
    • 2 Squares chocolate, unsweetened and melted
    • 1-3/4 Cups cake flour
    • 1-3/4 Cups sugar
    • 1/3 Cup butter or margarine
    • 1 tbsp Chopped nuts
    • 7 Eggs, separated
    • 1/2 Cup vegetable oil
    • 3/4 Cup boiling water
    • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
    • 1-1/2 tsp Baking soda
    • 1/4 tsp Cream of tartar
    • 2 Cps confectioners' sugar
    • 1-1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 3 tbsp Hot water

    Method


    •In a medium bowl, add cocoa and water until smooth; and allow it to cool for twenty minutes.
    •In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, baking soda, flour and salt. Add vanilla, egg yolks, oil and cocoa mixture; beat until smooth and blends well.
    •In a different mixing bowl, beat egg whites and 1/4 cream of tartar; now fold into egg yolk mixture.
    •Pour into a tube pan and bake at 325 degrees F for an hour. Remove cake from the pan.
    •For the purpose of icing, in a medium saucepan melt butter. After removing from the heat; stir in chocolate, sugar and vanilla.
    •Make it sure to stir in enough water until desired consistency comes; drizzle over cake. Sprinkle with nuts.
    •Serve.

    Carrot Kheer

    Ingredients
    • 6-8 Fresh carrots
    • 1 Litre full cream milk
    • 2 Cups sugar
    • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
    • 1/4 tsp Saffron
    • 5-6 Sliced almonds
    • Some cashews

    How to make Carrot Kheer

    • Wash the carrots and cut the edges.
    • Cut the carrots into small pieces and boil it in a pressure cooker.
    • In the meantime, boil the milk in a big vessel and leave it on very low heat.
    • Place the boiled carrot & saffron into a grinder and make paste of it.
    • Then add the carrot paste into boiling milk and keep it on normal heat.
    • Stir the mixture continuously and add sugar (add additional sugar as per the taste).
    • Add cardamom powder and stir well.
    • Heat the mixture until boiling state.
    • Now let it cool for sometime.
    • Refrigerate it for cold serving.
    • Decorate with cashews and sliced almonds before serving.

    Apple Jelly

    Ingredients
    • 2 Apples
    • 1-1/2 cup Water
    • 2 tbsp Corn Flour
    • 2-3 Clove-Cinnamon Powder
    • 1 Drop Yellow Color
    • 1/2 cup Sugar

    How to make Apple Jelly
    • Peel off the apple skin and cut in quarters.
    • In a heavy saucepan, put apple quarters and sugar.
    • Heat it on high flame.
    • Sprinkle with little water.
    • When apples become soft and sugar gets dissolved, remove from the fire.
    • Take out the apples and drain them on a colander.
    • Add corn flour, water, spices and yellow color to the remaining syrup.
    • Stir and boil continuously till transparent and thick.
    • Transfer the jelly into hot sterilized jars and seal.
    • Apple Jelly is ready.

    Caramel Cake

    Ingredients:

    • 3 Cups, sifted cake flour
    • 1-3/4 Cups white sugar
    • 3 tsp Baking powder
    • 1/3 Cup hot water
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
    • 2/3 Cup milk
    • 3/4 Cup butter
    • 3 Eggs
    How to make Caramel Cake:
    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    • Line two 9 inch pans with parchment paper and sift flour, baking powder and salt together 3 times, keep aside.
    • For caramel syrup heat 1/2 cup of the sugar in a heavy skillet, keep stirring.
    • Continue to cook and stir till melted sugar turn into dark brown.
    • Remove it from the fire.
    • Add hot water to it and stir till dissolved, keep aside to cool.
    • In a large bowl, cream shortening with rest of the sugar till light and fluffy.
    • Add eggs one at a time to it, beating thoroughly.
    • Combine vanilla and 3 tbsp caramel syrup.
    • Add flour mixture and milk alternately to it and beat till soft.
    • Pour the mixture into two 9 inch pans.
    • Bake it in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes till a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.

    Cheese pudding

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup Cottage Cheese (grated)
    • ½ cup Sugar
    • ½ cup Pistachios (chopped)
    • 4 tbsp Cornflour
    • 2 cup Water
    • 3-5 drops Vanilla Essence

    How to make Cheese Pudding

    • Dissolve sugar in water to make syrup.
    • Add cottage cheese (paneer) to the syrup, stirring continuosly for a few minutes.
    • Now add cornflour and cook the mixture till it becomes thick.
    • Finally add vanilla essence to it.
    • Remove from the flame.
    • Garnish the pudding with chopped pistachios.
    • Keep it for freezing.
    • Cheese Pudding is ready to serve.

    Cherry Jelly

    Ingredients

    • 3-1/2 Cups cherry juice
    • 4-1/2 Cups sugar
    • 1 pkg Dry pectin
    • 1 Cup water

    For Cherry Juice


    • 1 Gallon cherries, fully ripe

    How to make Cherry Jelly

    • Softly wash the cherries and remove the stems.
    • In a large bowl, crush cherries.
    • Add water to crushed cherries.
    • Boil them over high heat.
    • Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
    • Strain the juice through a cheesecloth or jelly bag.
    • Take a large pot and add cherry juice.
    • Now combine pectin with this and stir.
    • Place over high heat and stir continuously.
    • Bring it to a full rolling boil.
    • Add sugar and bring to a full rolling boil once more, keep stirring
    • Boil hard for about 1 minute.
    • Remove from the fire.
    • Remove the foam.
    • Ladle into the hot jelly jars leaving 1/4 inch headspace.

    That one looks rrreeaalllyyyy good! im gonna get my family to try it out!
