My brother is making a documentary this summer about our generation. I think its a pretty cool idea, and i encourage you to visit their web site www.nowentering.com. Heres the basic info about the documentary...

To the youth of America:

We’re a schizophrenic generation to be sure. The richest group of kids the world has ever seen and we spend much of our time in front of the TV obsessing over Marissa and her new lawn boy or lesbian lover. We follow Paris Hilton’s every spoiled move with bated breath, rushing out to buy the hottest and latest fashions. And yet, we give more of ourselves to charitable causes than any generation previous. In Iraq it’s our friends who are dying and losing limbs in the name of liberty and justice, ideas we will sacrifice for. We’re more stridently religious than our parents and at the same time much more tolerant. We supported Kerry for president and we supported Bush for president. On nearly every issue we speak with a multitude of voices. Sociologists have labeled us Generation Y or the Millenials, because we will be the first to come of age in the 21st Century.

But really, forget about the sociologists. This May, Derek Franzese and Ray Hafner (that’s us) will graduate college and take to the road to find out what we’re really all about. Stopping in urban hubs and on Main Street in Smalltown, USA, we’re taking the camera and the clipboards away from the sociologists for two months and turning them back on ourselves. From frat parties to church groups to the halls of Congress, we’re going there. It’s Kerouac with digital video.

And we want you to be part of it.

Let us know what you think. Tell us where to go. Give us a couch to sleep on. Is your best friend about to change the world? Have they already announced their presidential bid for 2020? Are they just getting back from a mission trip to Guatemala? Are they just sitting there getting stoned and loving it? We want it all. We’ve been planning this movie since we were in high school but there’s no way we’ll get it made without you. So go ahead and drop us a line.
