THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) steps backward from taking further disciplinary action against actor Thilakan. Thilakan is a prominent member of AMMA and he cannot be expelled that easily from the association .Therefore he would be given yet another chance to give his explanation before the association, said Mohanlal ,General Secretary of AMMA , detailing the decisions after the meeting.

It was noted that even though Thilakan was asked to give explanation within two weeks time, they didn’t specify the date. We are trying to bring back the actor to the association, and it is expected to solve this dispute in a friendly atmosphere, said Mohanlal.

Nobody has got any problem with Thilakan, but an association has to follow its rules. If in any case He cannot come before AMMA , our representatives would meet him he added.
