When your working on your website, on your computer, and when you finish fixing what you wanted on your site, and put the files into ftp. folder.

How long does it take for it to update that change to the website?

I just fixed/ added something onto my site, and when I went to check how it looks it wasn't there, then when I went into the ftp. folder and check the html, it was all there. I dont understand it, it doesn't appear on the website when it's run.

Am I just confusing you guys or...?

Anything would help...
